They come in sets of two and work best when two people will be doing the moving.

Labeled Tape

Most people know it is a good idea to label the boxes with the room they will be going into at the new home. It is also common to miss labeling a box or two when packing. A good way to avoid this is to buy packing tape in different colors that have room names on them. This way, when taping up the boxes in a room they are automatically labeled. Buy the different tapes for each room you have and you won't have to worry about writing on the sides of the boxes.

Stretch Wrap

Stretch wrap is used by distribution companies to wrap around boxes that are put on pallets to keep them from falling off. While it is unlikely you would want to wrap a bunch of boxes together because they would be too heavy to move, there are times when wrapping a single item is helpful. Doors and drawers on furniture can be wrapped to keep them from opening while moving. If you were to use packing tape, the sticky tape could damage the finish on the furniture but stretch wrap does not have a sticky substance so this can't happen.

There are many different types of packing items at a moving material store. In addition, you may be able to rent equipment like dollies or furniture blankets. The easier you can make the move, the faster it can get done and the less chance of someone getting injured.
